Introduction

I've always enjoyed getting together and play a game of cards. When I moved to Boston in 1994, I created and organized a gaming group in the Malden area. Nowadays, I am interested in any unique and original card games.

How did you find out about us?

What are your favorite games? What would you like to learn?

Recently, I was taught a couple of Italian card games (Briscola,Scopa) and I am totally hooked. I enjoy playing rummy and other trick-taking games. I'm always looking to learn something new!

When would be the best times of the week for you to join us?

I've always found Sundays to be a great day to meet, as it tends to be leisurely, and people tend to be available. Although weeknights can be possible.

What Tony is saying about this Meetup Group

At first glance, an activity like playing cards doesn't seem very exciting -- especially when there are other meetup groups promising different types of activities and entertainment. However, when you do it with the right crowd, the nostalgia sets in, and something magic happens.
